Paul F.: Are you calling all the people on this thread animals?
Perhaps you are barking up the wrong tree. Paul E. is a retired
investor with a hell of a lot of knowledge and understanding
of PC manufacturing, operations, etc. which he offers to this
thread. He also has a talent for tongue-in-cheek humor.
Perhaps, something you need. He has a big stake in Intel because he
got in early, and the stock has split many times since, making his
split adjusted price below $1. I bought Intel warrants 3.5 yrs ago
for $12 and a half and that gives me a split adjusted price of
$3 and 1/8th. Does that make me an Intel insider? Calm down.
This is a long term investment that has advanced 40% per year for
the last 10 years and bigger advances are yet to come.

Regards, David S.

Paul, re: "What have you "called" besides your therapist recently? If you think Engel has added real value to your portfolio recently then you must be a masochist."

The subject is not what I post, the subject is what Paul E. posts. He translates complex technology into meaningful information for long term investors, with a focus and quality I haven't found anywhere else. In turn you make accusations, that are in fact not true, about his prior statements and his reasons for posting. Are you lying or just careless?

Speaking of motivation, you have never said why you spend so much time on this thread, trashing one of the most profitable and successful companies in the world. I know that you are a long term investor in Novell, and you had a problem with an Intel product at one time, did one of these bad experiences influence your current behavior? Because you are short Intel, are you trying to influence the stock price?

re: "I've been so right on this stock I should get a medal from the Society For the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals."

You have been right for a very brief period of time, most on this thread have been right for many, many years. During those years you were invested in Novell.

John

I think it makes no difference whether Dr. Engel is an Intel Insider or not. The fact is that he provides genuine original insight; and prospective investors in Intel must use their OWN discriminating prowess and perform their own due diligence when it comes to researching a company for possible investment. As a Renaissance Man, I subscribe to the view that every human must think for himself! I look forward to reading Dr. Engel's posts as they provide an ocassion to stimulate my own independent thoughts.
