Check out the Lehman Bros site under Aerospace; they have an
interesting analysis of HWM with comparisons to main competitor
PCP. Bottom line is they are positive on the stock: effects of
previous leverage buyout wearing off (according to Lehman not
recognized in market yet). They have 12-18 mo. target price of
$25. (Present stock price is depressed by near-term effects of
restructuring charges, but I would say that now or first quarter
1998 is good time to buy in).

Related areas upstream are also very interesting now, check out
TIMT (Titanium Metals Corp) which had a nice move yesterday but still
cheap

Morgan Stanley just initiated coverage of Howmet at 9:22am-- STRONG BUY!! If this market picks up today, HWM should fly.
