Tony, re: "Now, why don't I take after these folks?"

Are you trying to say that you do not drink wine in "small quantities"?

No wonder you can't find Dennis. gg.

<<Albanian diet, that sounds exactly like what my parents (Italian) have always eaten. >>

The mediterranean eating habits are among the best in the world. Less meat and more vegetables and fruits are the way to go. When my wife and I went to an Italian restaraunt, we were served a round oversized Italian bread and virgin olive oil for dipping. Simple foods tastefully prepared and eaten as in Italy are good for the pocket book and health. Hold the sausages.gg Nobody can argue against moderate amounts of red wine with the food. It appears that your family is also blessed with longevity genes in addition to good eating habits.
Some researchers did studies on rats: Half of them were overfed and half of them were just given enough food to eat. The latter lived longer than the obese rats.

Obese people are more prone to cancer of the colon, rectum, prostate, breast, cervix, uterus, ovary and gallbladder in addition to diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis etc. The obese people have to carry all that weight around and their joints give out.

Happy New Year
