Cowen analyst Drew Peck.. said on Nov 16 that large customers will be getting deliveries of 233 P II's well before Feb 1 at prices well below $300. The Nov 10 Computer Retail Week reported that INTC will cut price of large quantity orders for 233 p II's by roughly 1/3rd on Jan 1. Seems that cut is in line with the predictions. What no one knows now is how the cuts will actually affect margins ect. in the past cuts have stimulated demand enough to offset negatives.
