After the convention last night Ted Cruz released this statement on his voter-less victory.
“This is how elections are won in America.”

“We had a tremendous show of grassroots support that resulted in a critical victory at today’s Wyoming Republican Convention. This victory continues a momentum shift that started in Utah and carried through Wisconsin, North Dakota and Colorado. Grassroots are rising up. Republicans overwhelmingly elected delegates who will support us at the national convention and nominate us to take on Hillary Clinton. This is how elections are won in America. This is another step in our drive to win a majority of Republicans to be the nominee.”

Huckabee: Ted Cruz is a dick… I tend to agree with this Cruz is very smart and arrogant, probably because he thinks he's smarter than everyone else, thus making him a dick. Not so good in a President. The only guy with a PHD as Pres was Woodrow Wilson, how did he work out

Trump is NOT preparing for the general election campaign. I posted excerpts from a Houston frontpage story yesterday noting that Trump doesn't have an organization in Texas - second most populous state in the Union. The handful of Trump loyalists are floundering around disorganized not knowing how to prepare for the state party convention coming up. Trump isn't preparing a full slate of delegates loyal to him. Yes, he has 40 some odd delegates bound to him for two votes but then they turn into what they will really be ... Cruz loyalists, because Cruz has an organization with a slate of delegate candidates.

Even where Trump sets up a campaign organization (like Florida, one of his home states) he disbands his organization in a state as soon as the primary is over. As if they don't know the REAL election is coming up.

I have to question whether Trump wants to be President. He does want attention but what else?
