Btw did you notice that if you bought ZITL on January or February, 1996 and held through thick and thin you would still have 100% returns today?

Are you suggesting a year end 1998 target of $24 for Yahoo!?

Did you notice that if you bought ZITL in December, 1996 and held through thick and thin you would be down almost 90% today?

>>>Interesting observation Barb.<<<

I confess, I heard it on CNBC this afternoon. If you must extrapolate from this, remember it wasn't a good idea to short IOM(G) at the start of 1996. It was a split adjusted 4 1/16, up from 9/32. The best covering opportunity would have been at 6 1/2 or so in August of 96, after suffering the run to 27 13/16.

Could have done better selling at 50, then shorting it. I wouldn't count on being able to get 12/share for it a year from now either.

Barb!
