That wouldn't be that nutty old cat lady who lives in a trailer with a shotgun so big she can't turn around would it? They lowered the speed limit in that trailer park to 5 MPH just for her. I'm not sure she should be driving at her age never mind having shotgun she doesn't know how to use. A crazy old Evangelical nutcase.

Trump: Andrew Jackson’s Ethnic Cleansing Of Natives Was A “Tremendous Success,” Obama Is Just Being PC

Republican front-runner Donald Trump, in a move that will come as a surprise to nobody, has sided with deranged neurosurgeon Ben Carson in the right-wing’s efforts to manufacture some kind of controversy over the decision to replace notorious racist and ethnic cleanser President Andrew Jackson with abolitionist and women’s rights hero Harriet Tubman.

Trump echoed Carson’s remarks in an interview today, agreeing that”Andrew Jackson had a great history. I think it’s very rough when you take somebody off the bill. Andrew Jackson had a history of tremendous success for the country. I don’t like seeing it. Yes, I think it’s pure political correctness. Been on the bill for many, many years and really represented—somebody that was really very important to this country. I would love to see another denomination, and that could take place. I think it would be more appropriate.”

This ridiculous nontroversy can be seen as an extension over the cultural battle of the legacy of the Confederacy, with conservatives defending their racist traditions and the left demanding that we acknowledge the crimes committed by our ancestors, in an effort to understand how we got to where we are today and what steps we can take to rectify the situation.

Make no mistake; President Jackson was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Native Americans, when he forcibly expelled from their homes in an illegal operation and marched to their deaths on what became to be known as the “Trail of Tears.” He also owned hundreds of slaves and worked to repress abolitionists across the country. Calling his presidency a “success” is a tacit endorsement of his crimes.

Which truly proves what Ben Carson’s role in the Trump campaign and the FOX echo chamber is in the first place – to recite their racist talking points while insulating his patrons from accusations of racism, since he himself is a black man.

Tubman was a true American hero, who deserves every inch of space on the $20 bill. She’ll be the first woman and the first person of color on our money, and while the right may condemn it as “politically correct, in truth we’re just being historically accurate.
