Romney was a corp raider, I know first hand as he did it to the company I worked for. I had worked for my company for 14 years and he outsourced most of the IT to a remote company in India. Before that we had been a Beta Test shop, on the Bleeding Edge tech for Hardware, Storage, and Oracle. He replaced all of these teams with Hacks whom had no clue...and within a month the company called me to help them recover from a major database crash that this new team of experts destroyed. My team told them to get lost and enjoy their new experts that they made us train for 3 months to get our severance packages. I called all my former DBA team and we all told them No Thanks and Screw Off! It took the former company hiring Oracle at $1000.oo per day and two weeks work to recover that key database. Come to find out if the former staff had a real easy recovery path that would have taken a few hours to recover instead of the two weeks. Sadly it was a special 4th level trap/recovery element that we the former DBA team set up and no one knew about was rather funny. I made sure to have a friend that was still there check if it was still in place, it was and then he dropped it. That company eventually got rid of those "exports" and had to rebuild a team that eventually found all these "safeguards" that were in pace and still running years later. They discovered my above safeguard and were pissed. They did ask me about it, but I pointed out it was documented before their "new experts" were put in place. You see it was Non-Standard approach, and well they only did things that were "standard approach" methods for anything. When your a Beta Test shop, you learn to do things None-Standard and only really skilled people know how to do. So Romney did this with almost every company they bought with BANE. Outsourced American works, in order to hire cheaper foreign workers that on paper look good.
