Lyin' Donnie is the one trying to steal the nomination, claiming they should just give it to him without having to get a majority of delegates to vote for him. He has agents unofficially threatening violence against delegates and their families. Totally scuzzy and gangsterish. "getting delegates to join his camp" That's what Donnie is now trying do allegedly. It's what Manafort was supposed to be hired for. Donnie must not be such a great dealmaker since he had to hire a fixer who works for the Russian mob and third world dictators to get delegates to vote for him. No one is being bribed delegates unless Donnie has started doing it. AFAIK he is going the gangster route though. Having stooges threaten them and their families. Delegates that are bound to a particular candidate are only bound for a certain number of votes. After that they are free agents. If it WASN'T that way, you could never resolve an impasse. Winning over delegates to get a nomination is traditional. Threatening families of delegates like Don's stooges are doing is NOT traditional or ethical. Apparently Donnie has never read the family Bible he has carried around and held high during campaign speeches. Donald is NOT someone I trust or want as a President of the US!
