Jon, in your quest for the truth, please reference some source or URL.
Where is the PSC1000 Java-native processor refuted to the levels you state? Please remember that the results of the design are what counts.

Also remember "Great Microprocessors of the Past and Present". It states that ShBoom(PSC1000) would give Java a good home.

..."The ShBoom architecture is a very innovative and elegant attempt at combining stack and register oriented architectures, with emphasis on the stack operation simplicity. It would give Java a good home."...

Thanks in advance.

Jon,

While I'm not in a position to argue your points with any authority,
I believe Clay Douglass, one of Patriot's chief engineers, told me
that PSC1000 executes 79% of java byte code natively. You state that
PSC1000 is not even *1% native*. If what I recall is correct, then
it could be considered 79% native, not that these semantics mean
anything in terms of its performance.
