I am going to be buying some ASND tommorow or Wed. I believe that come Jan 2 this pitiful dog will start barking again. We'll probably see upgrades on ASND sometime in Jan. I think funds are loading up at these low prices to sell it off once again after it has substantially moved up.

I've been wrong before, but I just feel ASND is in such a rapidly growing market that the potential downside is limited compared to the upside. I guess I'll find out by next earnings report if the proper decision was made. The prudent thing to do is probably buy the market leader--Cisco. I've never been accused of being prudent though. Worse comes to worse I'll sell CCs to make back some lost $$$.

>>>at what point in time should we start to worry that ASND will most likely not meet the street's expectations for the quarter?<<<

Don't worry about it at all...estimates have fallen to a mean of 0.22, so the Street is expecting 4Q to be as dismal as the lackluster 3Q...in fact, even worse since that would translate as 0% Q/Q growth, as well. With such a strong 4Q, we are bound to see some sequential growth, and if so, we beat earnings.

To Glenn and others: If the overall market rallies in January accompanied by the tech issues, particularly the networkers, but ASND continues to lag, at what point in time should we start to worry that ASND will most likely not meet the street's expectations for the quarter ? getgo, That is a loaded question. Too many unknowns. I would not make a definitive statemnt on that. I personally will hold my position through earnings regardless of the action of the street. Glenn
