I don't think you know the context of my remarks. It was about whether or not one's entire stock portfolio ought to be in technology.

I have no doubt that technology will continue to develop. But during the period from 1984 to 1990 (or thereabouts), technology stocks did nothing! However did technology itself take a break during that time? Of course not!

The wheels of technology are sure to keep rolling on. However, for everybody to agree with you on this, you have to pay high prices for technology stocks. I don't know whether you like paying a hefty price for a cheery consensus, but I certainly do.
