I think Intel and Micron want to use it in their own products, as opposed to selling the chip to third parties to use in their product.

But as you've suggested in prior posts, we'll have to see how those products work and when they appear. Unless you were using a different moniker, you weren't around back in 2013 or so when Stan Williams of HP was making all sorts of claims about memristors that people started paying attention to. It was supposed to be commercialized by the end of 2014, I think it was. Nowhere to be seen so far.

It is very difficult to bring these new chips to market.
