Unlike your denier industry shills like Watts, Goddard, Moncton etc.., Nye never claims to be a scientist. Nor does he deliberately mislead his audience.

He's a mechanical engineer and a science entertainment/educator. He knows and understands enough to clearly communicate and argue the issues of climate change.
