Hi Graig,

I have to agree, the spread on the stock is outrageous.
MRVC being a small company does concern most here however MRVC has shown that they have been
first to market and at the lowest price(in some cases) on segments of the market that they have a scientific
advantage. IMHO MRVC focus in on certain segments of this industry and excel in performance and are priced
competitively. At the shareholder's tour of the plant we were shown product that was being assembled for Bell South.
I ask Is this patented?...No Can it be reversed engineered?...We do special things to our products so they
can't be reverse engineered. (A little naive here..maybe)
MRVC is ahead of Cisco & Bay in Europe, we were told by the CEO. I don't have the tape in front of me but if my memory
serves me ,the reason was Nbase has production facilities, etc in Europe. Help somebody...keep me straight here, please.
They do have 120 million in cash. They are hiring salespeople from the leading companies "Household names" quoted by the
CEO.
They have a patent pending for Direct IP Switching, Their Ads comparing their products to Bay Network's are pretty bold.
Maybe you read my post before the shareholder's meeting. Must be having an effect as another Trade magazine that Bay
spends tons of money with compared the two products. They said MRVC's software was lacking but both products
performed similar after setup. One week later MRVC upgraded there software and still their price is well below Bay's
I do have a little extra confidence knowing (for what it's worth)
Intel bought into the company and has options on more. Intel's networking switches seem to look identical "on the outside":-)
to Nbase.Someone on this thread may be able to confirm this.(Also, our tour person said that" Intel has helped this company
out for along time and still does")
MRVC said they intend to be satisfied as an OEM supplier for the near future.
IMHO I don't believe all companies have to be a one stop networking store to everybody when there are a few products
cheaper and perform better (MRVC)
