I think it has been realized that the root of SE Asian problems was "avian flu", not "asian flu." Thus, the market was able to rally. It was envisioned by analysts that all of SE Asia would perish due to this flu strain, making the market for CDMA phones and equipment, in a word, dead. Thank that Hong Kong Disease Center for this "dead chicken bounce."
