John, some people try too hard to find these magical formations (I recently debated a poster who was shorting HWP [really!] in the low $60s and argued that she saw a H&S formation). You can never be sure until it is complete and then it is too late. I can see from the AMZN chart what the others you site may be talking about, but I think the bearish case rests on more than just that.

BTW, news today was that AMZN finally closed the $75mm term loan that was disclosed in an 8-k in early Nov.

I wonder how much of the $48mm cash they had on 9/30 is left now. Must be burning it fast. I'd bet on a secondary this summer at the latest (why? see my post #777 linked above).
