Meathead: A few comments on Dell for the year: Stock price +230% ( good for the lady owning 50,000 shs). Volume and sales last 9 months.+59%,+61%, notebooks +60%, enterprize sytems +309% An unavoidable tanking to around $72 caused by the Oct crash, occuring in a matter of several days forseen only by mystics or seers. A recovery from 72 to 82 or 14% since Nov 13 to date, despite all the best efforts of bears to bring the Company down. The almost unbearable noise level of Wall Street bears false rumours, a downgrade, and unpredictable foreign events have done nothing to impair the outlook and future of the Dell Co. Once again, as always,the company will be underated by trying to relate its performance to others in the field. Sometime a bear or daytrader may come along, working night and day, risking fearful sums, and for a short time make a better return on investment. IMO it will not be long before anyone who bought Dell stock at anytime (I bought latest at 78,90 and at 81)will will have a happy appreciation on the investment. Happy New Year!! SES
