That's why it only goes up $1 every 12-18 months here. A coffee shop can raise prices by 5 cents/cup/year and stay in business, but it can't if it has to raise it by a dollar overnight.

I don't think all states can pay $15 right now. Obama's $10 proposal was more realistic; in fact, it's our current MW. I think Clinton wants $12; might be possible over an 8 year period. $15 nationally by 2024 is too much.
