fpg You like looking down your nose on anyone who doesn't share your "Gentleman Tastes", don't you? Just expressing an opinion. You do it all the time so why can't i? Why not try brewing a good lager and see if you like it? Do you have any thoughts on AMD's proposed JV with the Chinese? Intel hasn't said a word which kind of surprises me. I wouldn't expect them to allow the Chinese to get a hold of x86 IP without a fight. At the same time I have to admire the AMD financial team. They've managed to sucker so many people out of their money, it's something to see. The Germans subsidizing their Fabs. Conning the EUC into fining Intel. NY subsidizing their Fabs. Suckering Abu Dhabi into buying all their Fabs! Now this thing with the Chinese! It's absolutely brilliant stuff. If only their silicon design skills could match their financial engineering.
