Joe, I believe in equality for all, men or women. If Ellen is terribly offended, I will apologize. But she should also realize that I am terribly offended by Pugs' calling me a criminal, and I have told him so. Ellen seem to agree that it would be proper to continue saying that. I don't see you asking Pugs to apologize to me.

FTJoe: Ellen obviously thought "partners in crime" was being used in it's non-literal sense, i.e. an expression. One I use all the time with my co-workers, friends, etc Given the context, I think Pugs meant it literally, and IMO Ellen repeated it literally, although hiding behind it's expressionability (new word). Regardless, I've posted my thoughts on this already. KMT
