It's a shame that Heartstream is selling out. HP will be the big winner in this one. With Heartstream's technology and HP's sales and distribution might, we'll probably start seeing units in every shopping mall, sports stadium, airplane and ambulance in the next couple of years. The potential market for them is huge but Heartstream was losing money and probably just lost their nerve. I sold my shares (at a loss) a couple of months ago and bought Compac.

You have my vote. Just saw Levy on CNBC, what a noodle! Our share value will drop as HWP gains. I don't understand establishing a value based on a future share value of the buying company. Heartstream still has a big future potential, but we will not be going to the big dance. The gains will be diluted within HWP. I'll wager that Levy comes out of this one in good shape.
