If you are planning a long term hold, I would consider averaging in. If this is a trading position, I would buy in the money leaps, as they will move more with the stock price.

Sounds good to me. Merced should be in full swing by then and put a positive ramp on Pentium II and all the other Intel products' revenues. Who knows what shape Intel's competitors will be in by then (but they don't look very healthy now).
