From todays Briefing - Tech Stocks --- Telecommunications Equipment Brief: We saw some aggressive bargain hunting in the group... Top targets were Northern Telecom (+4 5/16), Qualcom (+4 11/16), ADC Telecom (+1 3/8) and Lucent (+2 11/16)... The latter stock responded favorably to Barron's article which suggested that LU will become a bigger player in the networking industry in 1998 as more favorable accounting method frees company to hit the acquisition trail... ........If not ASND, then why not PAIR?
