Open your eyes, Trump is only popular with a small percent of the country. He pisses off more people than like him, not just Dems (he'll massively increase their turnout in order to vote againt him - this is a year when they have a weak candidate who has trouble turning out people - only a flamboyant unpopular guy like Trump can get them excited) but also a very big percent of the Republican base. You're under a fake illusion created by Trump and the media that he is massively popular. He's not. He's being helped by the media which is holding off on hard stories on him ... that would change if he were the nominee.
