The reference to being lady like was actually in response to you feeling the need to defend her because she's a lady.

Then a response to me would have made more sense, I made the assumption that a lady should be treated as such, not her(I don't think). I've stated twice I shouldn't butt in but won't apologize for doing so.

Why did you ask me if that's what I meant and then insist it's my opinion?

It's called a rhetorical question. Since the only thing Ellen objected to was the insult, I can only assume your statement about her sarcasm not deserving lady like treatment meant she shouldn't complain about the insult. If not, then I have no idea of what you speak.

I certailny believe in chivalry and a woman that hurls insults along with anyone else is what I wouldn't classify as lady like. Nor would I classify some male that hurls insults as gentlemanly.

That's equal.
