As I said I have followed the co. fo quite awhile, it is nice to see some interest finally. Unfortunately it took a 30% correction in just 2 goddam weeks to get everyones attention. I can only justify the falling off a cliff scenerario based on the following: there is such a small float that any type of selling just crushes the stock, some in 100 share lots taking the stock down several points, its a joke. The stock has fallen almost every day for the past two weeks. Co. should earn a whopping $4.25 in 1997, thats right $4.25, and from $5.25 to $5.90 in 1998. Stock is trading at close to 10 times with a 30% cagr. Nike is still trading at double this multiple despite several earnings shortfalls and difficult environment for athletic shoes. I still dont understand the fall, more and more analysts are ranting about the major shift from white to brown shoes. It is impossible to get info on the company, only Jon Chappell at Valueline follows the co. No other firms will attempt to follow the company, since they give absolutely no guidance and investor relations is tongue tied and will not open up. This stock is a SCREAMING BUY, it is down mainly to one institution that didnt care about price and just wanted out. Target based on a conservative 15-17 times '98 is $88.00. Please let me know what your hearing and your comments.
