Re: "The FTC is interested in all aspects of a companies business practices where ever they are . The S.I. thread has worldwide access but that includes the U.S. , whether those practices are noticed by a Canadian ,Chinese or a Russian makes no difference."

Actually, I believe the FTC is interested in companies' business practices in the U.S. (not necessarily globally). However, you are correct that the FTC doesn't care who those practices are impacting (Canadian, Russian, etc.). The claim that Canadians have no rights in this regard is silly and irrelevant; anyway, substantive rights aren't implicated if an individual just sends a letter to the FTC.

B,
Re -- The FTC is interested in all aspects of a companies business practices where ever they are...

You are wrong old chap. The FTC does not have any obligation, and your email has no validity in U.S courts. The FTC's email was most likely a courteous way of telling you to mind your own business. Read the email again.

Remember the Royal Mounted Police, will be on your doorstep, if you falsely withhold information. You should have stated in your email that you are a canadian.
