What I found hard to believe is that on a bus with 60 people, only 3 of us were determined not to go, and ended up on the group W bench to talk to the shrink. The other 57 sheep went to Vietnam. Unlike draft dodger Dick Cheney, who SUPPORTED the Vietnam war, but wouldn't go, I was totally opposed to it. Not just for my own skin and freedom, but for the Vietnamese people I might have to murder to survive, in THEIR country.
