Anyone taking statins or statinlike OTC supplements (e.g. red yeast rice, beta sitosterol, etc) should have their liver enzymes checked regularly (my GP says every 4 months).

Ish, I am so sorry to hear that! Please let us know if there is anything we can do. If you care to tell us the prognosis, I am interested. You can PM me if you'd rather.

Every time I have a weird test result my primary orders follow up tests. Elevated liver, get an ultrasound, test for Hep B. Elevated kidney, 24 hour urine. Spotting post-menopause, ultrasound, biopsy, D and C. Very short leash on my blood pressure, need to go back every month or so.

I was feeling irritated but now I feel better about it.
