Whaaaay Thaaaank yaal! I better be good at it. I was the ombudsman for a submarine. That's the wife who takes care of all the problems the other wives have when the husbands go to sea. Guess what?...we had 2 wives who were left for 6 months with vehicles without drivers licenses and 2-3 very small children and no way to get groceries. They were told by husbands not to drive the cars....also they weren't allowed by hubbies to get their licenses. They quickly learned how to drive, balance check books and got VERY independant. Southern all, left in Groton, CT. Winter too! Expected to catch rides with other wives to do the shopping. Their hubbies got a rude awakening by the other wives and their shipmates. Plpthhhhhh! (Raspberies)
