And by THE WORST, I'm referring to all of them. Hillary, Trump, Sanders, Cruz, you name it, all of them are terrible. Not that I'm disagreeing but who out there might be acceptable to you? For me Cruz probably fits the bill best of the GOP group but I don't like his born again-ness. I can't think of any other real conservatives out there. Maybe Carli but she can't win at anything.

But it's not just the R party that is being destroyed, it's US politics, wholesale. It's been leading to this for a while, all you had to do was read this thread for the tell. I gave up on it years ago. Once you stop taking it seriously, it's pretty amusing. More now than ever. I'm just hoping the country has the momentum not to self destruct before the end of my natural lifespan. (I may end up voting Humper Trumper as he may be the least likely to get us into a war. But who knows, or cares?).

One of the reasons I can support Trump is that I believe he genuinely wants to improve the country. The others -- Hillary, Sanders, and Cruz, strike me as wanting to restructure it (Sanders & Cruz) or simply seize power to have more credentials to generate higher paying speeches I guess. Trump may not know the intricacy of how various treaties work or where economic force can and can't be applied or how to use the military. But he does have the good sense to ask people who do. He has a tough climb still, as he releases his tax return which still hasn't been done and deals with the "Trump University" nonsense. But he has lawyers to do that stuff. At the end of the day he'll probably make a good president. But Hillary Clinton cannot be allowed to become president. She has no business in that position.
