Hello Frank & George and All,

Anyone who have not had the opportunity to read Brian Fagan's Nov/97
issue of the Fagan Report " ALBERTA , CANADA - THE DIAMOND PLAY - A SHOT AT $BILLIONS " ....... is now available free on-line at his web-site : fagan.stockscape.com
(scroll down and click on Nov/97 issue ; all 16 pages are available ).

Here's another news-letter that is following the Alberta diamond play;
their report dates back to Dec 1/97 : howe-street.com

Cheers,

Gord.

PS, Good summary of the MEO picture on your last post Frank , thanks.
BTW, have you seen any of the geophysical data on the SE Block?

Dear Frank and Gordon:

Sincere thanks for your level-headed and informative responses to my sort of dismal sticking of a finger in the wind.

I now feel that there is a serious and straightforward base of thread contributors, which I appreciate, as well as a fringe of mumblers or grumblers who can be detected and discarded by the serious base.

My confusion arose from not having had the experience to determine the difference between the two groups.

Thanks, gsm

PS The Fagan piece helped a lot in defining the current situation.

Thanks Frank. Great post!! Let's all try and keep this thread free from bickering and fear-mongering. Let's post only facts and reasonably firm street news.

*Most importantly, I don't wish to see any posters with legitimate information and/or concerns feeling afraid to post because they may be attacked (as has very harmfully happened on other threads). For ex., poor Griz was just offering valuable information, that is, that the E.Journal ran a pertinent article. I was grateful he posted that. There was no propaganda! :) I hope he will feel free to post again! The beauty of this medium is diversity in its sources. I don't want to be denied that data by disgruntled post-quashers. ;)
(Note- I am not pointing the finger at anyone)

To repeat, let's try to keep this forum free from negativity, meaning griping and bickering and reacting to frivolous posts-- we are on a sweet road right about now. I for one am going to enjoy the ride!

Montello's crew plans on getting that drill in the ground, warm or cold, by the 6th, so let's hope all goes as planned!

George M., re. this and all threads, as you read them you learn to discern who is merely trying to stir things up, and who else can actually offer relevant information or raise valid issues. As Frank pointed out, you should definitely be following other diamond threads for a true overview, particularly the SI Ashton thread WRT the AB.diam. play:
Subject 11488

Best of luck to all-- should be exciting!!

Frank, you have been on this thread for a long long time. One of the things bothering me about meo is why would someone want to sell 125,000 shares if meo was so good. I could see a few shares, but do you think there is that many people out there who don't have a clue why meo is moving. I bought more at 65 but with drilling starting next week, why sell. do you think this are the shorters again.
