>Not always. Certainly wasn't always that easy on the AMTX thread.<

I guess it depends on whom was evaluating the posts. I could read authoritative sounding posts and know there was cheerleading behind it. It is fairly easy to spot a cheerleader (to me anyways) if that person strictly talked up the stock even if negative events were occuring--consistently and every time. That AMTX was sold for $20 proved lucrative for those who bought in the low teens or below. For those who bought into the hype when the stock was in the 20's and higher, well, never ever trust a group opinion on one of these threads. I have found from my time here that popular consensus is often wrong. Ferret out the info that is meaningful to you. I also speculate on where a price may be in a month or a year and very often am dead wrong. My own failings are proof enough to me to be careful of the majority opinion. However, I still like to engage in the popular conversation on the threads I'm interested in. It is fun and I do feel new friends can be made this way in cyberspace. I like seeing some of the old names I know on other threads I visit.

FWIW, I bought into ASND this morning just shy of 24. I believe that ASNDs next earnings (BEWARE: RAMPANT SPECULATION COMING)will move the stock up at least a few points. I also think the tax selling will be over with and buying coming back. Just a few analyst upgrades are what is needed. As I posted on the ASND thread, I think funds are buying at these price levels and will upgrade just to dump when Joe-Sixpack has boosted the price again.
