Homedepot?

Ha ha ha ha - you go there to buy parts (which have a definite location) and quite often they are out of stock or the parts so scrambled that you know they haven't straightened the place out in a long time.

Sears - I haven't been there for a while; anyway I ordered on-line, everything went well, delivery was as expected, installation went well, they even price matched when the thing had a better sale.

But then I needed to return something so I decided to take it to their store - big big mistake, was a run around of epic proportions.

And it wasn't just me - one person taking more than 20 minutes to check out some purchases, another person getting the same runaround to return stuff (bought in store), store almost empty, poorly trained clerks and one that was so obnoxious, you would think he worked for the DMV or something.

I am still, after 3 weeks, attempting to get them (HD) to resolve a service issue. I believe they should be avoided whenever possible. I shall.

… However Sears takes the cake... that place is being looted by its CEO right now.
And why not? They got away with looting K Mart.
