Hello! VBH,
Over the past few months there has been a variety of thoughts, speculation, opinions, guesswork, etc., concerning the past, present and future as it relates to CVIA and how it could effect the investment potential for CVIA Shareholders!
I imagine that there will continue to be a growing and intense interest as the data/information begins to unfold!
There will most likely be an on going sharing of various and different view points as to how CVIA will benefit ( or not benefit!) from any/all merger activities!
Lately the focus appears to be directed at tracking down any/all parties/components that may or may not have a present or future affiliation involving CVIA!
( My guess work at best has been---not even close!!!!---I'm the one that speculated that CVIA would be part of the Pharmaceutical or Dental Supply business!-----WOW! One can certainly be way off the mark when speculating or guessing, without knowing all the details!!!)
As previously mentioned the final result /outcome for CVIA and it's shareholders could be positve, neutral, or negative! ( Time will tell!)
Some recent posts have been expressing " much concern" about the current CVIA scenario!
I can certainly understand why some CVIA investors/observors are expressing this view point and feeling.
In my opinion or personal view, I would suggest that based on some expressed growing concerns by some CVIA thread members, that it may be important at this time to once again state the following points!
At best this CVIA opportunity is a very " high risk" investment/venture for any/all shareholders/investors!
If anyone has invested or is thinking about investing their hard earned money into CVIA, then they should be sure that they are making the decision knowing full well that they are going into this high risk opportunity with their eyes completely open, undertanding that their investment could get even more financially diluted ( if there are share roll-backs, share splits, what have you!) that you are satisfied that whatever investment decision that they make is their own personal decision ( that has not been influenced in any way by someone else's opinion or recommendation in any way!).
I, personally am approaching the CVIA merger opportunity/possability with the headset that the money that I have invested in CVIA shares, I am personally prepared to lose the entire amount! ( of course I personally am hoping/guessing/speculating that the CVIA scenario will turn out to be a satisfactory ending for all of it's shareholders!--But! Who Knows!).
How Do I Personally Feel About The Current Unknowns? ( Share Consolidation? New Business Partners For CVIA! ETC.,?????)
All I basically feel is a Highly Speculative/High Risk Investment Opportunity that I monitor /track on a regular and daily basis! ( And trying not to get too attached or "married" to my shares, so if I start to feel a change in the momentum in the merger process developments I can maintain a somewhat range of level headed thinking, in order to react as I feel appropriate to my CVIA Investment! ( That could mean Sell some shares, Sell all my shares, or it could also mean Buy more shares!)------Yes! We could call it a moving target!
In my opinion chances are, that there is probably/possibly nothing that I can do about changing any decision that is going to be made by the merger particpants! ( Type of Business, Share Consolidation, Board of Directors, etc!)
In fact even if I could change some areas, I certainly do not have a hands on scenario, nor the day to day happenings ( over the past few months!) to even pretend that I could even make a meaningful or sensible comment or recommendation regarding the best next steps in the merger process for CVIA!)
I basically have to make my investment decision on the fact that I trust that Jack Arnold has a lot of ability and skill and business experience to represent myself and other CVIA Shareholders! Or that I do not think that he has the capabality , and the means and resources to take CVIA from an empty shell company, with currently no resources of any consequence or significance to put it in the fore front of a potentially growing business environment/situation!
Share Consolidation/Share Splits/Share Roll-Back Concerns?????
Very valid concerns! In my own opinion, if I had a choice? I would lean towards issuing more shares and staying away from any type of share split scenario! ( But! As indicated before! I have been wrong many, many times before in my speculation/guesswork! --- But! The reason that I did refer to the additional share scenario is because this is one area that Jack Arnold had indicated might be a consideration!)
What I'm hoping continues to happen is that Jack Arnold continues to have the CVIA Shareholders best interests at heart! And if this continues to be the case throughout the merger process, then the outcome will hopefully be the best result that could be a ccomplished under the current business environment/circumstances!
Just my own opinion! But I was thinking this morning, if my investment was in bettor shape three months ago? or today???? Something to think about? ( Just my opinion!?
I would also like to express a possible concern for some , that may or may not develop for CVIA in the future!
In earlier postings, several CVIA thread participants, suggested that we call for our CVIA Share certificates, in efforts to address any " naked/illegal sharting" that may or may not be taking place!
In my opinion, if there is any significant share consolidation, etc., resulting from any CVIA merger scenario, there is the possibility that the issue of any "short positions" ( just speculation on my part!) could be addressed and "corrected" very quickly!----As I would imagine that there would have to be an exchange or an accontiable procedure where by the shares would need to be exchanged for the newly issued shares/company name change/what have you!
Sorry for going a little longer than I planned! But I do want to reinforce this point!
I see a very positive point in any concern that anyone expresses regarding investments! ( I do it all the time! When I joined the S.I. thread I was going to give myself the name Mr. Nervous! instead of Wayne J.!)
When we feel concern! ( And it comes in all different levels and shapes and sizes!) We have 100% freedom to do something and take appropriate action to reduce or eliminate those concerns from our presence!) EXAMPLE!------If we are concerned we have too much money in a high risk investment opportunity?? Then we can sell all or a proportionate amount! ( Depending how much concern we want to remove!)----------------------If we are concerned that an investment opportunity may be getting ready to appreciate in vaue, and we feel we don't have enough shares??? Then we can buy some or more shares????? ETC!!!
As I see it the whole concern scenario is a straight forward one!
We control the degree and level of concern that we experience in all walks of life! But! We especially can control the amount of "concern" we experience in our investment planning! It's up to us!
Personally ! I tend to find myself in situationswhere there is usually need or an environment for some degree/level of concern! ( This is probably indicating to me that I like high speculative/ high risk/ potential for high rewards situations/ opportunities!)
And yes it all comes with "concern"----usually in the back of my mind 24 hours -a-day!
But! The "Key" point I would like to make is it is my " 100% choice to do so!"-----------Please! Make sure if you feel that you are currently in a "concerned" situation!----------Do a "check point conference" with yourself, and determine if you are in a concerned situation regarding an investment, is it because you have 100% to be in that "concerned" situation????? Or is it because of other people's opinions and recommendations????
It your decision! And your decision alone to do with your investment dollars as you feel/deem appropriate!!
What a way to bring in the New Year! A QUOTE!
" CONCERN can be a GOOD thing! As long as YOU are the ONE that decided to GIVE it to YOURSELF!"
Wishing Each And Everyone of the CVIA Thread Members A Very Happy, Healthy, and Prosperous 1998!
Best Regards,
Wayne J.
P.S. No need to be concerned , unless of course you so choose! |
