Shorting companies that enter into financing deals has been all the rage for some time and I'd bet TXB picked up a few "followers" in the past due to this very reason.

Look at Wednesday's intraday as well as a few historical charts. Now I'm no expert on charts but I do know that the activity of most biotech stocks tends to lead events. I'm seeing charts pointing towards something good in the works, not something bad.

Were there any problems related to the Novastan trials you can almost bet it would be showing up in those charts long before some internet chat thread "exposed" anything.
If I was short the stock I'd be a little nervous too considering the past 10 days' activity. :-)
