  • UMTS is 3G it is right here
  • 2G still here and building more as sites are congested and operators need to spread the TRXs around the site
  • GPRS anytime you swipe a card at the supermarket it goes via GPRS
  • Wi_Fi, the focus of the article is still here and will be there for a very very long time
  • It is like Dot Matrix printers, I go travel agencies and they print with a dot matrix printer.


Terminals WAP and PDAs were superseded by Smartphones.
