First thing you have you realize is that it's a fools game to pit AMD against Intel. Wall Street will punish any stock that misses it's numbers. They have this nasty way of thinking a shortfall portends even worse shortfalls later. What they really like is a stock that increases earnings incrementally over a period of time. When that ends they spook.
