Good point and very fair, especially coming from a smoker. Doubt, or as I like to call it 'skepticism' is also an essential element to keeping an open mind; but that is regarding the inner terrestrial regions only. Having doubt and casting doubt are two different things. I wouldn't make an attempt to cast doubt on something I know to be solid or even when I don't have certainty about something ... I would, however, encourage everyone to keep an open mind. There really are no absolute certainties when it comes to things of the world.
