Its the same wide-eyed ideologues who cheered the collapse of Communism in Russia and the resulting "privatization" of the economy their, as well of course as the "architects" of the transformation of Iraq (which would pay for itself plus the war!).

Meanwhile, one could look at say the compound growth rate of China and what model they have used since either of the above two events happened, and compare how things worked out.
