We'll see. I see an extremely low probability that Trump wins a general election, and even that low probability event depends upon an equation with a large number of "insert miracle here" sort of events.

I understand you're sold on him.

Being in the real estate development industry I can't name even one person who will deal with Donald Trump or think he's is a competent businessman. Some write him off as "Sideshow Bob" the malevolent ego-filled clown from the Simpsons, while most think he's simply a spoiled brat who's pretending to be a business as he continues to mismanage his family's money. Many in real estate development are even convinced he's mentally ill with with untreated manic depression, for which there's abundant evidence.

The bottom line is Trump's a disaster area who becomes sharply less appealing as people get more time with him. His delusion that he's a competent negotiator leaves those who have dealt with him sick with laughter.

Being close associates with Trump I think the Clintons were in a unique position to realize how self-destructive his clown-show would prove to be in an election, and based on what I know that will prove to be the case.

The sun may not rise tomorrow, but Trump President is an even lower probability event.

Even if series of miracles put him into office, he faces the same problem Obama did in dealing with a Congress, and in Trump's case even his own political party which hates him. His admirable ability to sling insults won't produce results in that situation, other than provide fodder for comedy shows.

Bill Clinton is an imp who clearly saw a path for Trump, being willing to make racist comments and appeal to those who believe the National Enquirer and nutbags like Alex Jones are factual. And Bill was clever and correct.
