Survey sees Apple iPhone shipments slipping to just over 200M

A Nikkei survey, based on forecasts by brokerage firms and market research companies as well as
estimates by makers of smartphone parts and related manufacturing equipment, estimates Apple's
(AAPL) worldwide iPhone shipments to decline to slightly more than 200M units this year, down from
roughly 230M units in 2015. Samsung is seen falling short of its 2015 total of 320M units, meaning the
two smartphone market share leaders will see their combined share decline to around 34% in 2016,
down from 47% in 2012, said the Nikkei Asian Review.
