Intersting segment on the local news(Houston) last night during their Health Beat report. Dealt with a promising drug that had performed well in shrinking tumors in testing in numerous trials. Further indicated that the future looked good for this new treatment but that in some cases the drug had not been effective. Spoke about the drug being in the retanoid category and therefore had few sideeffects. Didn't mention the drug by name but did show a vial with our favorite name....Ligand. With the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center here in Houston there is alot of attention given to drug testing in this TV report. Just maybe the good news is around the corner.
