And we have fewer warships than then. Fewer horses and fewer carts. We aren't fighting any major wars, despite Republican pressure. It isn't gutting the military to reduce troop strength when we are not actively engaged in a war. Besides, there are other measures than just boots, you know. You'd have to be an incredibly stupid person to look at the military budget at nearly $600 billion in direct spending, and call it 'gutted'. How stupid do you think we are, Harris?
