China topped up its gold reserves in April, according to data from the country’s central bank.

China’s gold reserves climbed to 58.14 million ounces at the end of April from 57.79 million ounces at the end of March.

In June 2015, the People’s Bank of China made its first update to its gold reserves data in six years
