Sounds like your iPhone is becoming self aware and might turn into the Terminator.

I've been having mine lock up frequently but believe it has more to do with the Network here being garbage than anything else.

Might also be related to iOS 9.3.1 as it was after upgrading to it that things started going South.

engineer, oh! I think it's related to my iMac, perhaps a long lost child. I can come in in the morning to find iTunes playing or sometimes an email from years ago may be open or Photos, or Pages, etc. It definitely has a mind of its own. The hard drive has been replaced and other things fixed but it continues on. I've just learned to live with it. If it turns nasty I will have to put it out on the street to fend for itself.
