Brian, INTC blamed weak FLASH prices last quarter for the miss in earnings....I thought they scraped the FLASH plant and are now converting it to CPU plant??

DRAM is becoming a smaller part of the total dollar value of chips...however, when you look at quantity, it has the biggest market share.....and that means it requires the most semi tools.

Brian Intel flash was to go to Isreal now that isreal plant will make CPU and tx flash has been postponed 18months. Due to greater demand for CPU. flash is under preasure from new advanced technology requireding only 1.8 volts from AMd Intels flsah is 5 to 7 volts. The AMD 1.8 will redesign handhelds like PCS phones. 1.8 volts will requires charging your phone one a month. Big improvment in energy managment.
