Again, so? We aren't at war. We don't need the boots. You still haven't explained how $600 billion is gutting by the Democrats. Especially in light of the fact that it would be even higher if Republicans hadn't blocked the budget and triggering the Sequester. You do remember that little bit of theater, don't you? As far as 1940, your point? Only a moron would compare now with then. In 1940, we were well behind the state of the art in military technology, save for nuclear development. Now, we are the state of the art by a huge margin. Even more so than Germany of 1940, and they had almost all of Europe despite having a relatively small military. Only the reality challenged would compare the two. Given that Fox is pushing the idea, well there is the proof.
