Sounds like the EPA has over stepped it's place...another case of government going to far.

Yes, I studied Basic Reporting in College -----and have been an unpaid editor in politics and the civic arena
in Northern Virginia.

NOW BACK TO ARKANSAS:

My brother bought acreage about 35 years ago in Arkansas from a man who had bought the property
around 1900.

He, my brother, and his family began to build their dream house. There was an entrance road from the main road, even marked by the state with a sign. As one entered the road to the right was National Forest Land. On the left was his property.

Suddenly, he received a notice claiming the road could not be used by their family to access his property.

My brother, went to the local Court House and researched as far back as he could go into the 1800's.

A local man whose family had used the road for decades to their property then wrote a letter stating the
use of the road for decades. by locals to get to their properties.

The final result was that my brother got access and was supported by the local Judge without a court case
being necessary. My brother received a letter, formal, from the Judge stating that my brother had access to his property and maintenance on the road would be done by the County.

Now, the EPA is denying permits for work in local areas of Arkansas unless the company is certified by the EPA---national mandate.

That means that a company that was skilled in drilling wells and improving sites must now be licensed
by the EPA with a higher cost to the land owner.

Then, there was the logging that was taken away from the local loggers.

Just remember that ALL POLITICS IS LOCAL------DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH---THEN TAKE ACTION!
